The Body Speaks Method™ Training

This training is designed not only for therapists or teachers, but for anyone who wishes to reconnect with their body and learn how to truly listen to it.

A method grounded in experience and research

This training is based on the integration of years of practice, clinical observation, and the foundations developed in my books:

  • Chair Yoga to Relieve Anxiety
  • Your Body Remembers What Your Mind Forgot (a guide to fascia, posture, and emotional patterns)
  • Heal Your Body and Your Mind with Yin Yoga

It also draws on postural and therapeutic concepts such as the Upper Crossed Syndrome described by Vladimir Janda, linking posture, muscular imbalance, and chronic tension patterns.

Together, these elements create a structured and comprehensive approach to understanding the body beyond technique.

A bridge between body and mind

We use the breath as a bridge between the body and the mind.
Through guided movement and awareness, you begin to reconnect with your internal sensations, creating a deeper understanding of what your body is expressing.

From movement to awareness

Each day begins with physical exercise.

We start with slow, accessible movements and gentle stretches, allowing every participant, regardless of their experience, to approach the practice safely.

From there, the practice gradually evolves into a more dynamic and powerful sequence.

This progression helps you:

  • build strength
  • improve mobility
  • deepen body awareness

Learning to listen

Beyond movement, this training invites you to develop a new quality of attention.

You will learn to:

  • observe your physical sensations
  • recognize patterns of tension
  • understand the connection between the body and emotions

Understanding that these systems work together is a decisive step toward change.

Glossaire

A grounded and scientific approach

This training combines a practical and experiential approach with a deeper understanding of the science behind the body.

Fascia, anatomy & posture

You will explore:

  • the physiology of the fascia as a sensory and connective system
  • how fascia adapts to stress and stores tension
  • key anatomical principles
  • postural patterns such as upper cross syndrome
  • common pathologies and their impact on movement

Neuroscience & neurotransmitters

You will learn how the nervous system regulates your internal state and how neurotransmitters influence your body, your emotions, and your perception of pain.

The main neurotransmitters are:

  • Dopamine → motivation, reward, movement, engagement
  • Serotonin → mood regulation, emotional stability, sleep
  • Oxytocin → safety, trust, connection
  • Cortisol → stress regulation and adaptation
  • Adrenaline (epinephrine) → activation, alertness, survival response
  • Norepinephrine → attention, alertness, arousal
  • GABA → calming, inhibition, nervous system regulation
  • Glutamate → arousal, learning, neural activation
  • Endorphins → natural pain relief and well-being
  • Acetylcholine → muscle activation, movement coordination, concentration

You will learn how these biochemical processes influence:

  • muscle tone
  • tension patterns
  • emotional states
  • stress responses
  • chronic pain

Understanding regulation

You will gain a clear understanding of how the body alternates between:

  • sympathetic activation (stress, protection)
  • parasympathetic regulation (recovery, safety)

And how breathing, movement, and mindfulness can help regulate this balance.

Trauma and the Body

We explore trauma as a physiological experience within the nervous system.

You will learn to recognize patterns such as:

  • Too much, too fast → burnout
  • Too little, for too long → chronic stress or deprivation

These patterns influence how the body holds tension, protects itself, and organizes posture and movement.

Physical Release

When approached safely and gradually, bodywork can bring about a profound sense of release.

Not by forcing change, but by creating the conditions for it to occur.

This process can be:

  • powerful
  • liberating
  • deeply regulating

Regulation of the nervous system

Through breathing, movement, and mindfulness, the body gradually transitions from arousal to regulation.

Entering the parasympathetic state allows for:

  • relaxation
  • recovery
  • integration

This is where true change becomes possible.

A space to reconnect

When the body feels safe, something changes.
You can slow down.
You can listen.
You can access what has been held beneath the surface.

More than a training

This is not just about learning techniques. It’s about:

  • understanding the body
  • developing awareness
  • transforming the way you perceive yourself

A deeper transformation

This approach creates a space where:

  • movement becomes more efficient
  • tension can release more naturally
  • awareness leads to lasting change
